All entrants must have safe billy carts and safety gear (listed below) to participate, if not all basic standards are met the entrant will receive notification during scrutineering prior to the event at 9am. Any safety repairs required must be addressed before the start time at 11:00am otherwise the entrant will be disqualified for safety purposes. All entrants will be required to attend scrutineering together with their entry form at 9am Sunday 26th February in order to participate in this event unless prior arrangements are made.

This is a single cart race event that will be timed for results. Allow up to 3+ runs so make your cart reliable and as creative and as fun as you like!

Helmet, Gloves, Elbow Guards, Enclosed Shoes, Long Pants, Long Sleeved Shirt

Safety Test

Safety officers will ensure that the basic safety requirements for the billy cart have been met. Other requirements/modifications will also be assessed.

Cart Specifications:

- No more than 6 wheels, no less than 3 wheels

- Max Width 1200mm

- Max Length 2400mm

- Max Height 1200mm

- Novelty has only height restriction and cannot compete with other carts.

All race marshals’ decisions are final.

Under no circumstances are carts to come in contact with each other.

All carts are to be powered only by gravity.

No carts are to have any sharp or dangerous protrusions.

All carts MUST have safe working brakes.
