What Is Happening This Week:

  • 5:00pm Monday 15th Motorfest Meeting at the Car Club, all welcome.
  • 10:00am for a 10:30am departure, Thursday 18th for the Red Cross Luncheon at Adaminaby.
  • 10:00 Saturday 20th Museum Open Day.
  • 1:00pm Saturday 20th Commencement of changeover of cars in the Museum display, please remove your vehicle if it is currently displayed.
  • 9:00am Sunday 21st Cars for the new display are arranged in the Museum. Please contact Kel 0478 000 374 if you need assistance with this. 

    ABOUT US

    A Car Club like no other. A healthy membership of motoring enthusiasts enjoy the many day trips, extensive tours and Club outings but also work with the Clubs facilities and resources to benefit the wider community. In the last two decades, the Club has provided over $120,000 to regional charities.

    The MOTORING MUSEUM is the newest attraction funded by the NSW Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund.
    Combined with the main clubhouse, the Cooma Car Club is the perfect venue for other car clubs who use the extensive facilities created by members to hold their national events.

    Incorporated in 2002 as the Cooma Monaro Historic Automobile Club Inc., The family-oriented Club is open to all vehicle models and makes and other motoring of interest that are 30 years and older.

    Museum

    The Motor Museum is open to the public

    Every Tuesday 9am to 1pm, and the 
    First Saturday of the month, 10am to 2pm.

    MOTORFEST

    Every two years, the Cooma Car Club hosts the regions' largest festival of motoring - MOTORFEST.

    SURF TO SUMMIT

    Our much-anticipated bi-annual two day event that takes in the best our region has to offer.  From the sand, sea and surf of the beautiful South Coast, to the alpine playground of the Kosciuszko National Park.

    HILLCLIMB

    The Mt Gladstone hillclimb in Cooma is organised by the Cooma Monaro Historic Automobile Club (CMHAC), sanctioned by Motorsport Australia, and uses the Mt Gladstone Rd which is located about 4 Kms out of Cooma.
